This is another set of well known Vocaloids, Rin and Len Kagamine. The development of the Kagamines started when Crypton formulated the idea of making a pair female and male voicebanks. The first idea was to make two voices of a girl and her mirror image of the opposite gender, like twins. Crypton had the intention to distribute them as twins but this was not fulfilled. After seeing many works that depict their relationships differently, he announced in a magazine interview that those would meet their ideal. However, Crypton's final announcment was that they were neither twins or lovers. During Append Production, Wataru Sasaki described them as having one soul between them. Rin was the first one to be illustrated and Len was made to match her. Their leg features were designed to mimic speakers. Their main design, of which is most noticeable on their boots, uses the YAMAHA EOS as a design base. They are known for having 02 on their left shoulders. Rin's item is a orange, Len's item is a banana, and together their item is a road roller which had been assighned to them by accident on a meme. These two are my most favorite Vocaloids, especially Len-chan. He's such a cute shota boy and oh how I wish he were real. I think Rin-chan is really cute and I love to pair them as twins. I'd rather go for Len x Miku and Rin x Kaito.
