Hatsune Miku

This is the well known Hatsune Miku. Crypton had the idea to release Miku as, "An android diva in the near future world where songs are lost." Her name even means sound from the future. Miku-chan was originally intended to have a different hairstyle, but after trying twin-tails, KEI(the illustrator of Miku) thought they suited her best. Her twin-tails even earned her the title of the best twin-tails of the 2000's. The digital design on Miku-chans skirt and boots is based off of synthesizer program colours, and the bars represent actual bars within the program. The thin squares around her twin-tails are futurastic ribbons that float, magically holding the hair in place without touching it. After an internet meme involving Hachune Miku, Miku-chan was associated with a spring onion which is often mistakened as a leek. This, along with KAITO's association with ice cream, started the item war within the Vocaloid fandom where each Vocaloid was paired with a special item. She is known for having the number 01 on her left shoulder and her colour theme is blue/green.
